The Christmas Social, for over a decade I’ve been collecting Christmas gifts for the Holy Spirit Sisters, Sisters of Christian Charity, and Mission of Our Lady of the Angels. The Sisters rarely ask for much, so I usually supplement their lists.
I’m sharing the list with you not to ask for participation, but simply to keep you informed. This list is also distributed to the St. Norbert/Our Lady of the Brook Women’s Club, the Men’s Club, and the Knights of Columbus. You’re included because you’re part of our Convent community—please don’t feel any obligation to contribute.
Our home will once again serve as the collection point. We’ll deliver the gifts on Sunday, December 21st, around 1:45 PM, just before the Christmas Social, which begins promptly at 2:00 PM. I need a few volunteers to help transport the gifts for the Sisters. Donattions are down this year. Please consider joining us to help make this a special event for the Sisters.
The Sisters will have snacks and refreshments for everyone, and the Knights of Columbus (and other brave souls) will be singing Christmas carols. I’m not sure yet whether we’ll play Christmas Bingo or something new, but it’s always a fabulous time—the Sisters talk about it all year long!
Please RSVP to Deanne () by December 14, 2025. Space is limited and I also need to make sure the Sisters are prepared for us. As of today, I only have 6 people confirmed for attending.
